Designed and built to fit the very stringent site requirements of the narrow, sloping lot in a flood plain, the site includes a large concrete retaining wall around half of the house to keep flood waters at bay.  

The homeowners were pivotal in the design of trim details, built-in cabinetry and even made the stain glass windows included in the home.  The owners selected all interior finishes and did so with period - yet timeless - colors, patterns and details.  The end result is a masterful nod at the Arts & Crafts period with all modern amenities and features.
