The homeowners of this traditional 1960 tri-level desperately wanted a large family room with vaulted ceiling and fireplace, open kitchen / dining rooms, and a new Owner's Bedroom Suite. By rotating the entry to the existing garage to the front, we created space for a new focal point entry and a large family room addition.  The Owner's Suite above the existing kitchen, living and dining rooms. Stairs were extended to the new level and accented with a series of square windows at the upper level, allowing light to filter down throughout the other levels below. A large trellis-covered deck was added to the side of the home, with access from the kitchen.
