Timeless Tudor Reconstruction

This stunning 1924 historic Tudor home was added on to in the 1980s, with a contemporary 2-story lofted family room off the back of the house. Not only was the addition inadequate for the interior needs of the homeowners, they desperately wanted a design that seamlessly connected the new and the old. We removed the 80s addition, and reconstructed a new full 2nd story, including 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a new laundry room, all designed - inside and out - to match the character of the original house. The brick chimney was extended in height, with new inlaid brick detail to match the original front of the house, and remained a focal point of the family room. The attached Garage was also reconstructed with new 2-story height to allow for a car lift and overhead storage.
