This typical 1970s 2-story home had small and boxy rooms at the back of the house - with the Family, Breakfast, Kitchen and Dining rooms physically and/or visually separated. By removing the wall between the Kitchen and Dining rooms, we were able to enlarge the kitchen and allow for clear sight lines from one end of the house to the other. Upgraded appliances and increased countertop space allows for Dad to work in his chef's kitchen with plenty of seating for family and guests on both peninsulas.
