Built in 1904, this historic Victorian farmhouse remained largely unchanged for over 100 years. Needing exterior repairs, the home was updated with new siding and front porch, as well as an addition for the kitchen expansion, sunroom, and mudroom/laundry; each matching the character, style, and charm of the original home. The compact kitchen expanded to include a light-filled space for a breakfast table and extra storage, with French door access to the new sunroom. Wood stained to match the original highlights the Victorian details, as does the exposed brick chimney original to the home. Modern in every way, this project highlights design elements and materials borrowed from the past.
